When we began working with AN Riepu Centrs, the task went far beyond a visual website redesign. The business needed a unified digital platform combining its public website, online tyre store, service booking, customer enquiries, supplier data feeds and day-to-day operations management.
Delivering a solution of this scale requires careful analysis, clear priorities and close collaboration with the client. The entire project was delivered in three months, measured from contract signing to full implementation. During that period, the HITEXIS team built and launched a completely new website and a system tailored to the company’s operations. It helps the business sell tyres, process service bookings and manage its core workflows in one place.
Throughout the project, we conducted business analysis, created the UX and UI design, developed the public website and administration environment, implemented integrations, tested the key user journeys and prepared the system for full operation.
The new platform is available at https://autoriepas.lv.
We started by understanding how the business actually works
AN Riepu Centrs operates in a highly seasonal industry and had already built a base of around 5,000 customers. Demand for tyre changes rises sharply in spring and autumn, while the team must simultaneously handle calls, bookings, enquiries, tyre orders and deliveries. Processing this information manually during peak periods takes considerable time and increases the risk of errors.
Before development began, we examined the complete customer journey and the company’s internal workflow. We analysed how people choose tyres and book a service, how employees plan capacity, how supplier data is received and how the business processes enquiries after they arrive.
This enabled us to build a system that reflects the way the business operates in practice. Every function addresses a specific need and helps either the customer or the company’s team complete a task more quickly.
A convenient website and online store for customers
The public website was built from the ground up, with particular attention to speed, mobile usability and a clear information structure. Customers can learn about the services, view examples of completed work, submit an enquiry, select tyres and book a service appointment.
In the online store, tyres can be filtered by season, size, manufacturer, price and availability. Customers who do not know the exact tyre size can select their vehicle and find the correct specifications. To support this process, we integrated the Wheel Size database into the platform.
At checkout, customers can choose collection from the service centre or delivery, pay online and book a fitting appointment for the tyres they are purchasing. The entire journey is designed so that the customer does not need to call the service centre and arrange every next step separately.
Online booking that helps manage service capacity
We developed a dedicated online booking system for tyre fitting and repair services. Customers select a service, view the available dates and times, enter the required information and receive a booking confirmation.
The system accounts for opening hours, existing bookings, closed dates, public holidays, seasonal schedule changes and the time required for each service. If a booking is made for a six-wheel commercial vehicle, the system automatically allocates a longer appointment slot.
Customers receive automated SMS notifications when a booking is created or changed, as well as a reminder before the appointment. If necessary, the booking can be rescheduled or cancelled through a personal link. This reduces manual phone calls and helps the service centre plan its daily workload more accurately.
Data from six suppliers in one tyre catalogue
One of the most technically demanding parts of the project was the integration of tyre suppliers. Six suppliers provide data in different ways, including APIs, XML and other structured feeds. Product names, specifications, stock information, delivery terms and pricing rules also vary between suppliers.
We developed a separate connector for each supplier to receive the data and convert it into a consistent format. The system regularly updates prices, stock levels and product information. The appropriate pricing logic is applied to Latvian and international suppliers so that the online store always displays the correct final price.
If an error occurs in a supplier feed, the system logs the issue and retains the latest valid data. The store continues to operate, while the administrator is notified that the relevant integration needs to be checked.
This automation significantly reduces manual work. Employees no longer need to compile files from multiple suppliers or repeatedly enter the same information.
An administration environment for daily operations
A large part of the project is not visible on the public website. It is contained within an administration environment designed around the operational processes of AN Riepu Centrs.
The team can access the booking calendar, customer enquiries, orders, payment statuses, supplier synchronisations, customer information, website content and system activity history in one place. Employees can review capacity by day, week or month, create bookings manually, reschedule appointments and block specific time slots.
We also created a Kanban module for managing work in progress. Technicians can see current jobs, mark work as completed and enter the final amount. A manager or administrator can then continue processing the order and prepare the invoice. Access rights are assigned according to employee roles, ensuring that each person can view and change only the information required for their responsibilities.
Enquiries submitted through public website forms are stored in the platform and sent to Bitrix24. Each enquiry includes the time received, source page and current status. This helps prevent customer requests from being lost and shows which services and channels generate the strongest interest.
Importantly, the company can independently manage website content, service information, blog articles, opening hours, SMS templates and a range of other settings. Routine updates do not require the involvement of a developer every time.
Integrations that connect the complete customer journey
We brought several external services together within the platform. Wheel Size helps customers select tyres for their vehicle, Paysera provides online payments, the Venipak integration supports delivery management and Esteria handles automated SMS notifications. Supplier integrations keep the catalogue up to date, while Bitrix24 receives customer enquiries and helps the team manage follow-up.
We connected Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console, and implemented conversion tracking for advertising channels. This makes it possible to see where visitors come from, what they do on the website and which marketing channels generate enquiries and orders.
The value of these integrations is not simply their number. What matters is that they operate as one connected system, removing the need to transfer information manually between separate processes.
A technical foundation for intensive seasonal demand
The project required a custom architecture because an off-the-shelf website or online store solution could not reliably combine all of the business requirements. The platform is built with Laravel, Next.js, PostgreSQL and Redis, while the infrastructure is hosted with Hetzner Cloud in Europe.
The public website was built with search engine optimisation and fast loading in mind. More resource-intensive processes, such as supplier data imports and notification delivery, run in the background so that they do not slow down the site for customers.
The system includes user roles, activity tracking, integration error logs and monitoring. Database backups are created every hour, verified and stored in separate object storage. These measures are particularly important during peak seasons, when website traffic, bookings and orders all increase at the same time.
Our work continues after the platform launch
Publishing the new website was an important milestone, but our collaboration with AN Riepu Centrs did not end there. We continue to develop the platform, expand its internal modules and refine its features based on the day-to-day experience of employees and the behaviour of customers.
At the same time, the HITEXIS team manages the company’s digital marketing. We work on search engine optimisation, manage Google Ads campaigns, develop communication across social media and analyse the results. By developing the technical platform and marketing together, we can attract visitors and measure how effectively they progress to an enquiry or purchase.
A result that works in a real business environment
From contract signing to full implementation, the project took three months. During that time, the HITEXIS team built and launched a large-scale digital platform with an online store, booking system, custom administration environment and numerous external integrations.
Since launch, the website has been generating a strong flow of tyre orders and service bookings. The client is pleased with the result, and we continue to develop both the platform and the company’s presence across digital channels.
For us, project success depends on whether the solution is convenient for people and helps the business operate more efficiently. The AN Riepu Centrs platform achieves both: customers can select, book and buy more easily, while the company’s team can manage the entire process more effectively.
Does your business need a similar platform
If your business needs a new website, online store, booking system or custom business platform, the HITEXIS team can support the complete process, from initial analysis and development to integrations, launch and ongoing improvement.
We begin by understanding your business processes and only then select the most suitable technical solution. This approach allows us to build a system that is easy for customers to use and that your team can manage independently in its daily work.
HITEXIS provides a 12-month warranty for the solutions we develop. After launch, we can continue with technical development and maintenance, analytics and digital marketing.
